Nintendo Wii Fit – The Balance Board etc.

Nintendo Wii Fit is a console video game after the Microsoft Xbox360 that hit the market with a bang as it has a unique concept. It is equipped with a Balance board which the player can use to balance his/her feet while playing the cool games. The games are exercise-based with a breakdown of: aerobic exercises, yoga exercises, and balancing exercises.

As one works their way through the exercises he or she can choose from different categories and various types of exercises belonging to each category, according to their taste. Wii Fit Bundles are uniquely designed and can also bare the weight up to 150 kilograms which is approximately 330 pounds. If the game is set up on a smooth surface the four rubber base feet creates sufficient friction to avoid any slipping. If the Balance Board is placed on a carpet or a thick floor rug the additional quadruplet of rubber base feet can be used to adjust the height accordingly.

The Balance Board uses a total of 4 batteries (AA) which come with the package. The inbuilt ultra sensitive internal balancing scales identify even the slightest change in the weight and pressure applied by the user on the Balancing Board. Gladly so, the Nintendo Wii Fit is actually very interactive and makes crucial decisions and verdicts concerning its user’s overall wellbeing. It prompts a user to register their date of birth as well as their height.

Once taken, the user is prompted to step on the peripheral Balance Board which takes their weight. All along, there is a cartoon animation on the screen that guides and directs the user on what to do so as to get their data in. By gathering all these figures the WII FIT calculates the Body Mass Index of the User. Judging by the Body Mass Index score you could be tagged as “ideal”, meaning your are completely balanced or as “Underweight” or “Overweight”. It doesn’t stop there just yet…

The Nintendo Wii Fit then prompts the user to systematically shift their weight to specific points as directed in a timely and basic balancing test. This consequently leads to the display of your Wii Fit Age on the screen. The balancing tests are particularly good as they greatly aid a user in properly aligning their body’s weight, and can be conducted as often as desired.

This is definitely a revolutionary product in the world of video games. If your kids spend most of their times sitting around on couches and staring at screens now you need not worry about their laziness thanks to Wii Fit Bundles. Clearly, you’re far from kidnapping them from the gaming world…you’re better off ensuring that while they’re in it, they stay healthy and fit!
